Hall Gedung C, 4th floor, was packed with students. More than 100 students attended the career inspirational talk that was delivered by Ms Nessa Nendyta Tedji, CPA (Aust). This event was partially sponsored by CPA Australia.  As a G&A senior Analyst at ConocoPhillips, she shared her inspiring experience working in business and accounting world. She suggested the students to find the sweet spot in finding the well-suited job for young graduates. This spot should be intersections of three dimensions, namely “what your good at”, “what you love to do” and “what people will pay you to do”.

She also encouraged the students to make his/her own mission statements. Particularly, she humbly told the students to clearly express what their goals in the next  5 years, 10 years or even 15 years. By doing so, students should be able to equip themselves with required competencies in order to achieve the goals. Albeit the Q&A sessions are limited to 2 sessions, more than 10 questions related to the accounting world were comprehensively discussed.  The event was adjourned at 12.15 and next session will be held in the near future.
