The Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB Undip), has officially earned the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System certification and the ISO 21001:2018 Management System for Educational Organizations certification following the successful completion of its external audit. This achievement marks a significant milestone in FEB Undip’s ongoing commitment to strengthening governance, enhancing institutional integrity, and aligning its management practices with internationally recognized standards.
The external audit was conducted at the Dean’s Building of FEB Undip on November 18–19, 2025, as part of a comprehensive evaluation of the faculty’s management systems, operational procedures, and internal control mechanisms. Through this process, FEB Undip demonstrated its readiness and consistency in implementing structured policies that support transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across academic and administrative functions.
ISO 37001:2016 is an international standard designed to help organizations prevent, detect, and address bribery risks by establishing systematic control measures. It covers essential aspects such as anti-bribery policies, risk assessment, financial and non-financial controls, reporting mechanisms, and ongoing monitoring. By achieving this certification, FEB Undip affirms its strong stance against corruption and reinforces a culture of integrity throughout its institutional environment.
Meanwhile, ISO 21001:2018 is a standard specifically tailored for educational organizations to ensure the effective management of learning services. It focuses on enhancing the quality of education, meeting learner needs, strengthening stakeholder satisfaction, and improving organizational performance through a structured and process-oriented approach. The implementation of this standard enables FEB Undip to deliver more consistent, efficient, and learner-centered educational services, in line with global best practices.
Both certifications were issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a global, independent body that develops and publishes international standards to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and interoperability across various sectors worldwide. Receiving certifications from ISO reflects not only compliance with internationally accepted benchmarks but also a strong institutional commitment to sustainable quality assurance.
The successful attainment of ISO 37001:2016 and ISO 21001:2018 also supports FEB Undip’s broader strategic goal of attaining international accreditation, including AACSB. These certifications contribute to strengthening the faculty’s quality culture, fostering continuous improvement, and enhancing its global competitiveness in the field of economics and business education.
Through this achievement, FEB Undip further solidifies its position as a faculty that prioritizes clean governance, effective academic management, and international standards of excellence. The certifications serve as both recognition of its current practices and a foundation for future development in building a transparent, responsible, and globally oriented academic institution.
